Troubleshooting and Support
1. Quick Start ("Getting Started")
-
Fully charge the device before first use (2–3 hours depending on model).
-
Load paper: open the lid/slider, place the label roll with the outside of the label as per the manual (usually the outside facing the lid / first label out through the slot). Close properly.
-
Install the NIIMBOT app (App Store / Google Play) and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
2. LED indicators / status
-
Solid green: Power on / battery OK.
-
Blue: Bluetooth connected / printing active.
-
Red/blink: No paper / lid open / overheating / low battery (depending on blink pattern). Refer to your model manual for exact patterns.
3. Common problems + step-by-step solutions
A. Printer not found via Bluetooth
-
Turn off and on both the printer and the phone's Bluetooth.
-
Close and open the NIIMBOT app, press Connect → search device again.
-
If pairing requires a PIN, try
0000or1234. -
For iOS: check that the app has Bluetooth/Network permissions in Settings.
-
Try another phone to determine if it's the printer or the phone.
B. Printer not printing / nothing happens when you press “Print”
-
Check battery level and charge if necessary.
-
Check that the paper is loaded correctly and that the protective tape (if any) has been removed.
-
Calibrate the paper gaps (Press the power button once while on to run calibration).
-
If Bluetooth shows connected but the app says "unresponsive" — disconnect and re-pair.
C. Print quality is poor (faded, streaks, uneven)
-
Only use recommended NIIMBOT labels (otherwise risk of printhead damage).
-
Gently clean the printhead according to the video below.
-
Check that the label/material type in the app matches the actual roll.
- Ensure that the paper is correctly seated in the printer.
D. Paper jam / stuck paper
-
Turn off the printer.
-
Open the lid and carefully remove the paper roll. Check that no label edges are stuck in the slot or at the cutter.
-
If the cutter is blocked, clean and remove any remaining label pieces. Restart.
4. Firmware & Drivers
-
Firmware updates are normally done via the NIIMBOT app; follow the in-app instructions.
-
Windows support: some models (e.g. B21/B1/B3S) have Windows apps and drivers available for download. See NIIMBOT's download page for the correct driver for your model. Download drivers here
5. Error codes & what to do
-
No LED / no power → Check charging cable, port, and battery.
-
Red flashing + “No paper” → Check paper feed and that the lid is closed.
-
Bluetooth connected but no print → Re-pair, restart app and printer.

Frequently asked questions
Printer cannot connect or be found
Printer cannot connect or be found
1. Check that Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone and that no other phone is connected to the device.
2. Check that the correct printer model is selected in the app.
3. Reset the printer to factory settings and restart your phone's Bluetooth. Some Android phones require GPS positioning to be enabled.
4. If the device is not found, go to system settings and search for it via Bluetooth. If the device is not found there either, it is a hardware problem; if it is found, try unpairing and re-pairing it.
5. It is recommended to uninstall and reinstall the app and then test the connection again.
6. It is recommended to try with another mobile phone to search and connect.
7. If the above does not solve the problem, it is likely a printer error. Contact niimbot in the app for support.

The machine is flashing red and continuously feeding paper.
1. Try calibrating the paper feed via Bluetooth connection to the printer in the NIIMBOT app. Steps: App homepage - Me - My hardware - Paper feed calibration (select the correct paper type).
2. Reset the template, ensure the correct label roll is selected, then restart the printer and connect to print.
3. If the above methods do not work, it is preliminarily deemed a hardware fault. Please contact us by email: hello@labelmate.se for assistance with returning the printer.

How to get a sharp logo with the NIIMBOT M2_H
The quality and size of the image file are crucial to the result. The NIIMBOT M2_H prints at 300 dpi, but the printer cannot make a low-resolution logo sharp or recreate details missing from the original file. For a proper print, the file must have enough pixels for the size the logo will have on the label.
Choose the right image file
Use the original logo file if possible. A vector file, such as an SVG, can be exported in the correct size without losing sharpness. If you use an image file, we recommend a high-resolution PNG. Avoid screenshots, blurry images, and small logos saved from a website.
A black logo on a light background usually provides the clearest result. Thin lines, small text, shadows, and color gradients can be difficult to reproduce on a small label.
Check the pixels against the print size
It is not enough that the file looks large on the screen. What matters is how many pixels the logo has in relation to the size at which it is to be printed:
The dimensions apply to the logo itself, not a large empty area around it in the image file. An image can therefore be 1,000 pixels wide but still produce a poor print if the logo only takes up a small part of the image. Enlarging an already blurry or low-resolution file will not help.
If regular text from the app is also printed faintly or unevenly, check that the label roll and ribbon are seated correctly and follow the manual's instructions for cleaning the print head.
Please note: You are responsible for ensuring that the image file has the correct quality, pixel dimensions, and size for the print you wish to make. We cannot be held responsible for an unsatisfactory result due to a low-resolution, incorrectly cropped, or otherwise unsuitable image file. Please feel free to contact us before printing if you are unsure whether your file will work.
